Host Laura DeFazio of Musicians, Mentors, and Barroom Heroes, on WHIV 102.3 FM, is putting together a day-long event at Checkpoint Charlie! Music will start at 3 p.m. and end at 8 p.m.  I will go on around 6.  Proceeds (from the crawfish boil and bar food/drinks) will go to releasing a "live" in-studio compilation of performances on her show, including my song "Got Me Beggin'".  The money from the album will go back to the New Orleans Musicians Clinic and WHIV 102.3 FM (a non-profit human rights and social justice station).  No cover to get in.
